Doctor Faustus – the Greenwich Theatre play production and DVD
Dr Faustus was performed at Greenwich Theatre in London during October 2009. The story of the man who sold his soul to the devil is Christopher Marlowe’s best known play, and a firm favourite with both theatre lovers and students.
Directing the production was Elizabeth Freestone, whose previous credits include Romeo and Juliet for the Globe Theatre, as well as many plays for the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). An excellent all-round cast also included familiar faces from the RSC, the National and the West End, including many with major TV and film credits to their name.
